Isaac has struggled ever since childhood, learning just how cruel life can be from an early age. Growing up as a slave and gladiator helped shape his physical body into the powerful figure he is. However, it also stunted his empathetic care for others until far later in life. Because of this, he can come off a tad cold at times, but given time; he'll warm up to just about anyone who's not overly morally dubious.

In his adult years, Isaac is forever walking the line between man and monster, having buried any light within himself to embrace the strength and techniques of the Dark Knight. Entirely devoted to what he believes is his purpose, Isaac sets off every day with one foot in front of the other to defend the weak and frail who cannot protect themselves, even at the cost of fragments of what innocence of his own yet remains.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and looking at my character's profile. I made this to get back into the rp scene and make some contacts for my boy. As for me, I'm currently situated in Canada and am in the EST timezone. For those whos timezones are vastly different from mine but would like to write with me, I'm willing to rp in the game or on discord.

I should probably mention that Isaac is on the crystal data centre just in case someone finds this carrd outside the crystal discord.

I'm willing to RP most themes, however, I won't allow for Isaac to be killed or seriously injured (we're talking missing limbs) I do enjoy erotic writing as well but only if the scene makes sense and calls for it. I have fun writing smut as much as the next nerd, but I'm not here to write a porn script. Also on that note, 18+ only if things are ever to get saucy.

If your character is looking for a significant other then sadly Isaac probably isn't your guy, for various IC reasons he's not the dating type. I am happy to allow him to befriend anyone who gets along with him.

I'm usually a paragraph roleplayer, but if the rp is in discord, I generally write longer posts. However, I do find myself struggling to write very short form rp, I like to describe the things happening and if you're someone who only wants to write one or two lines per post I might not be the roleplayer for you. I should also mention I prefer in-game to discord rp, it can be kind of difficult to stay focused on forum style roleplay sometimes.

Story

Isaac's story isn't one filled with joy; it begins with his mother fleeing Ala Mhigo to escape all the conflict and bring her child away from the chaos of war. They started with a healthy mother/son relationship, but the new life she found in Uldah quickly caught up with them. Being an attractive, foreign woman brought much attention, particularly from those that would see a poor single mother and know how to use her for profit. They introduced her to drugs, gambling, prostitution, and everything else you would likely find in the Uldahn underworld. Before long she had grown accustomed to a life of small luxuries and few hardships, but when the men she had initially attracted no longer showed an interest in her, she sought other ways to make a living without working.

Isaac was always a good son; he did what his mother asked and never questioned her, at least until she began using him for personal gain. He often found himself sold off to perverse and sadistic strangers at a young age, subjected to cruel physical abuse. Many nights, Isaac remained sleepless in bed, questioning why it was happening and wondered if he should run away, but he always stayed, wanting nothing more than to make his mother happy.

After a while, the small exchange of coin wasn't enough, and his mother wanted more. So eventually, Isaac was sold at a high price as a permanent slave. Despite his young age, he was still an Ala Mhigan born Highlander boy, and his body began to show it. No longer did he resemble the young boy that fled Ala Mhigo with his mother; instead, growing to become the man he would eventually be today. They trained him in swordplay and combat intending to use him as a pit fighter for gambling. He excelled in his training and grew to be particularly vicious in the ring despite his kind-hearted nature. It didn't take long for him to become favoured and well-known in the underground gladiatorial scene and eventually, he managed to find a modicum of self-worth in the combat he was forced to take part in.

Several years later, he was pitted against a Syndicate member's brother. It was a fixed fight, and he knew he would lose, but Isaac struck a deal. By throwing the match, he was to be spared, freed, and paid a hefty sum. The fight began, and Isaac could have quickly dispatched the man; however, every slave knew the brother was untouchable because of his status, everyone knew harming him would mean certain death. Regardless, Isaac put on a good show making it seem like an honest fight. When it was time for him to fall, he stepped into the next blow which cut across his face and drove him to his knees. The arena audience roared, but to Isaac, it was dead silent, the only thing ringing in his ears was the judgement to be executed instead of spared.

In a panic, he looked around the arena, confused about what was going on. He was supposed to walk away from this with the ability to start a new life. It wasn't until the man smiled down at him that Isaac understood what was happening; these men traded his life to make money. His eyes closed tight for a brief moment, accepting his fate. However, when the sword came down, steel had met it, not flesh.

When he opened his eyes, he found an Elezen woman standing between them with her sword drawn to protect him. She had long, snow-white hair and a slender figure. Despite her frame, she effortlessly pushed the Roegadyn back. The moment she did, Isaac grabbed his weapon and rose to his feet, slashing at the man's neck, cutting it open and quickly ending his life. Before anyone knew what was happening, she had grasped Isaac's arm, and the two fled the scene with the sound of pursuers shouting far behind them.
